White iPhone 4 Available February 27th?
Wednesday, January 19, 2011
The elusive, magical, mystical white iPhone may be closer than you think. So they actually delayed the launch of it and lots of people have been waiting for it, hopefully you’re still not waiting on it. Apple have supposedly had some manufacturing issues with it, they allegedly had trouble matching up the colours, how hard can it be to make a phone white?
MacRumors and Engadget have now posted reports saying that the device is now showing up in Germany on the Vodafone network as well as Best Buy stores. A screen shot has been leaked showing the White iPhone 4 to be released on February 27th in Best Buy’s inventory. Now, If Apple stick to their yearly routine of releasing new iPhone’s, there will be another iPhone in June. So will that be the White iPhone 4? An iPhone 4 but with upgraded specs like they did with the iPhone 3GS? And the other thing I can guarantee is going through your mind is; what network(s) will the new iPhone be on?
Apple has finally made some movement on the white version of the iPhone 4. The update comes by the way of the Apple Store App, where it’s currently listed for in-store reservation. The device, however, is still, “currently unavailable for order or in-store pickup,” via the Apple Store. Nevertheless, its appearance within the Apple Store app indicates that the device’s availability may be imminent. Apple has been deflecting questions on the availability of the white iPhone 4, since the device launched this summer. The company has stated only, “they will not be available until later this year.” So if you’ve been waiting to send e-mails tagged, “Sent from my white iPhone 4,” it looks like your wait is almost over. Like the black iPhone 4, the long-delayed white version will be available in two models: 16GB for $200 and 32GB for $300. Both models require a two year contract from AT&T.
